CICADAMATA DMND Point Farming Guide - How Scoring & ZONE Work
Quick answer
Build score through high-value kills, Core pickups, ZONE uptime, Starstruck routes and clean Time Bonus retention.
Use this page when you understand the exits but keep missing DMND thresholds. DMND is a score problem first, then a route consistency problem.
Quick Answer
Trigger ZONE at about 5,250 points, keep scoring through the window, and route high-value kills into the multiplier. Protect Time Bonus after 30,000 points because current community notes report a loss of about 100 points per second.
How Many Points For ZONE?
| State | Current community value | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| ZONE trigger | 5,250 points | Starts the 2x scoring window |
| ZONE multiplier | 2x | Best used around dense fights or Core routes |
| Initial ZONE duration | About 8.33 seconds | Plan a short burst, not an entire level |
| Extra duration | About +0.333 seconds per 50 points | Continuous scoring extends the window |
| Starstruck | 4x | Strongest known scoring state |
Time Bonus Calculator
Current notes place Time Bonus at 30,000 points and report a 100 points/sec drain.
| Extra time lost | Score lost |
|---|---|
| 1 second | 100 points |
| 5 seconds | 500 points |
| 10 seconds | 1,000 points |
| 30 seconds | 3,000 points |
That means a slow detour can erase a good kill unless it also feeds ZONE, Starstruck or a required Core pickup.
Enemy And Pickup Scoring
| Action | Points |
|---|---|
| Normal kill | 500 |
| Dash kill | 750 |
| Railgun kill | 700 |
| Spike / Void kill | 1,000 |
| Core pickup | 750 |
| Wipeout bonus | 900 |
Best Ways To Farm Points
- Build ZONE before high-density fights, then spend the multiplier on enemies instead of empty movement.
- Favor Dash kills and environmental kills when they do not slow the route.
- Chain Stomps where enemy placement supports it.
- Keep Core pickups in the route when they do not cost more Time Bonus than they pay back.
- Learn one DMND route per Sphere before chasing every level at once.
ZONE vs Starstruck
ZONE is the reliable 2x scoring state. Starstruck is the 4x state and should be treated as a high-value route window for IT'S TRICKY, late-Sphere DMND attempts and Starshot practice.
CCDA vs DMND
The site uses CCDA threshold tables as practical DMND score targets. Open the CCDA clearance thresholds page before routing a specific level, then return here for the scoring system.
DMND FAQ
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Is DMND only about speed? | No. Speed protects Time Bonus, but score sources and multipliers decide the route. |
| Should I kill every enemy? | Only when the score and Wipeout bonus outweigh the time cost. |
| When should I use ZONE? | Use it where it turns several kills, Cores or environmental kills into multiplied score. |
| What achievement uses this? | SHIMMER, EVERY 17 YEARS and IT'S TRICKY all depend on strong scoring routes. |
